War Against Babies with Down’s Syndrome

down01Dear Friends for Life:   The war against babies with Down’s syndrome continues to widen. The latest headlines read: “New prenatal test for Down’s eugenics by the back door?” The killing by abortion of these beautiful babies has increased as a newer and more accurate prenatal test for Down’s syndrome was developed in Britain. Human Destructive Legal System

images-1(2)Dear Friends for Life:  What happens when we raise the level of our legal system above God? A Belfast High Court ruled recently that abortion should be made available in the north of Ireland to babies with a severe disability or conceived through rape. This type of thinking is spreading to all corners of our planet. The legal system is ruling that it has the RIGHT TO KILL an innocent life created by God. Continue reading

Refugees are not statistics

Dear Friends for Life:

The UN estimates that about 60 million people are displaced forcibly in the world. Would these people be called “Refugees” or “Migrants”? Online news as well as the mass media use these terms interchangeably, yet there is a great difference which affects our approach when tackling this problem. Continue reading

Is Nuclear Power the Solution

fukushima-radius-343x300Dear Friends for Life:     David Gutierrez in NaturalNews asks, “Chernobyl Has Killed One Million People; Will Fukushima Kill Five Million?” In Fukushima, March 2011, a major earthquake and tsunami caused meltdowns at three separate reactors, the cores of which continue to disperse so much “radiation” that one would die instantly if entering the area. Is there a quick-fix solution to this radiation problem? Definitely not. The radiation problem will continue on its present course of destruction for many years into the future. Continue reading

It Is Not Marriage!

houses on sandDear Friends for Life:   The slippery slope continues to chip away at traditional values, principles and religious freedom. The latest issue centers on same-sex marriage. Ireland became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage by popular vote. That’s right. A Catholic nation defied the teachings of the Catholic Church with over 60% of Catholic voters voting in favor. Shortly after, the supreme court in the United States voted 5-4 to legalize same-sex marriage. Yet in this democratic country, the people had no voice, no vote. The decision was imposed on the American society by 5 judges, not elected by the people, rather appointed by politicians. And adding coals to the fire, the job of the Supreme Court is to interpret laws, not create them. Continue reading

Yeah, wait a minute! These are Children!

child02 copyDear Friends for Life:   What’s wrong with the Syrian Government? Killing their own citizens, including children? Where is the outrage of the international Christian community? The Syrian Air Force allegedly dropped chlorine gas bombs on children in a residential neighborhood. Their bodies gasped for air on hospital stretchers as medics held back tears, and watched as they suffocated to death. Continue reading

Solution: Transgender Locker Room

36393293-abstract-man-or-woman-androgyn-watercolor-consept-portrait-isolated-on-white-backgroundDear Friends for Life:   This morning I ran across a thought-provoking article: “Woman Complains About Transgender Person in Locker Room, Gets ‘Scary’ Response Back” A woman, a member of a fitness center, complained to the office that a transgender man was using the women’s locker room. The response of the gym was quick. They kicked her out of the gym by cancelling her membership. “Wait a minute!” was my first reaction. Continue reading

Human Faces vs Military Drones

Before this we were all very happy. We lived a very good life. But after these drones attacks a lot of people are victims and have lost members of their family. A lot of them, they have mental illnesses.”  — Ismail Hussain (anonymized name) Continue reading

Winter Without a Home

Dear Friends for Life:   The New Year has dawned and the number of refugees in the Middle East has increased. For example, over 3 million Syrians are refugees today. This is the biggest humanitarian emergency of our era. Since the beginning of the conflict in Syria almost half of all Syrians have been forced to leave their home and flee for their lives in search of safety. Continue reading

The Slippery Slope Continues

Dear Friends for Life:   During the past month, the media has bombarded us with the sympathetic story of Brittany Maynard, the 29-year-old newlywed with aggressive brain cancer. Lots of emotions floating around between pros and cons. What’s next? Continue reading
