Pretending to be something we are not

Dear Friends for Life:   Today we are observing a world which is descending into moral darkness. We avoid looking at the refugees living in camps, poverty resulting from the combined wealth of the richest 1% will soon overtake that of the other 99%, sex-education based on un-researched conclusions, traditional marriage being swept under the carpet, hard earned taxes supporting the abortion industry and the slippery slope continues. Now we are bombarded with laws forcing the general public to believe what is false and abnormal. The most recent madness infiltrating different segments of society is the utterly absurd “bathroom wars”. The crisis: Men walking into girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms or showers, stripping and exposing their male naked bodies to little girls. Insanity by any moral standards.

Not to be accused of sex discrimination based on “gender identity”, I propose the following solution: create a public comfort zone. Open to the general public, this assigned area would consist of a number of individual rooms, each with a sink, toilet, shower and sufficient space to change clothes. If Target, large companies and governments want to change the present status quo against the will of the majority, then they have the responsibility to invest their money and built facilities which protect the rights of all people, not just the transgender minority (0.3% in the USA). Like most public facilities, the doors can be locked from the inside. Privacy is protected and abnormality disappears.

The LGBT movement acts as if male and female restrooms were created to oppress transgender people. A bathroom, locker room or shower room each have a “specific purpose”. They are not built for the purpose of having different sexes parade naked in front of each other. When the President of the United States dictates bathroom policy for the entire public school system based on psychology rather than biologywe are witnessing official delusion at the highest level.

The Supreme Court has already redefined the six thousand year old institution of marriage. Must biological reality be redefined as well? Apparently, the answer is yes.

Where did this so-called trangender right originate? Historically it never existed as a right. Lawyers can’t even define with certainty the word transgender. Yet for a tiny fraction of the world population, the government suddenly creates new laws which change the biological definition of male and female to a psychological one.

Why? To what purpose? Is throwing away modesty, chastity, decency and the sense of shame, the right solution for a healthy nation? For free sex to expand, these safeguards must be destroyed. Is this what we want for our children?

The Hollywood solution to the “gender identity” is nothing more than a fantasy, an illusion, pretending to be something we are not. The public is forced to believe something which goes contrary to a their biological makeup and sexual identity – male and female. Blind obedience to this is pure nonsense.

The Catholic Church makes it very clear that we are made in God’s image. It identifies man and woman as a sexual man and woman who unite in a relationship of creating life and sharing love. Man, woman and child give meaning to the word “sexuality”. Every child born to such a union is born into love.

The world of transgender people is “unsexual” because it has no procreative meaning. There can never be a child. To speak of gender “divorced from any biology” leads to confusion in an unrealistic relationship, to a life without real meaning, an illusion.

There definitely is a problem. However excluding God, our Creator, from the equation is not the right approach. Gen 1:27. “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.”

Cardinal Robert Sarah, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship, states that the Church’s teachings on marriage, sexuality and the family are under extreme pressure. “In the name of ‘tolerance,’ the Church’s teachings on marriage, sexuality and the human person are being dismantled,” he said, citing the legalization of same-sex marriage, the contraception mandate, and a mandates that bathroom access be based on gender identity.

Facing such threats, Cardinal Sarah calls on Catholics to be prophetic, faithful, and prayerful in speaking the truth. Jesus tells us: “Do not be afraid to speak out nor be silenced: I am with you.” (Acts: 18:9)
